Director’s Word

“Body means much in a person’s life of feelings and thoughts. Likewise, thoughts and feelings mean much in the life of the body”, Vydūnas, Lithuanian philosopher of the pre-war period, used to say.

Permanent rush and nervous strain often make us forget these simple things. Our body gets sick, and our soul gets tired. When one’s soul is restless, body is untended.

The mission of a physician is to be a reliable advisor on disease prevention and treatment issues. We try to create the best possible conditions for both, our patients and the physicians working for the Centre, so that we could join our forces for the purpose of being healthy or, in case of a disease, for urgently rendering high quality medical service. Therefore, our patients use the following words to describe MDC and its services: professional physicians, attentive and kind nurses, high quality services, and modern medical facilities.
