Preventive vaccines against cervical cancer
Either of the two types of vaccines is available at Medical Diagnostic Centre: Silgard and Cervarix, which protect from the most common reason of cervical cancer, i.e. HPV type virus.

General information
In accordance to the order established by Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania, any inoculation (immuno-prevention) at Medical Diagnostic Centre is preformed only after examination of family physician, pediatrician or internist.
If patient comes for inoculation and has his/her doctor's referral for it, pre-advice of the doctor of Medical Diagnostic Centre is not obligatory.
Patients having concluded an Extended agreement of healthcare services and having chosen a family doctor are to pay for the vaccine only. There is no extra fee for inoculation and doctor's advice.
