Vaccines for children

There is an approved calendar of reimbursed vaccines for children and additional (preventive) vaccines recommended by specialists of Medical Diagnostic and Treatment Centre.

Vaccines against infectious diseases

Vaccines against hepatitis A, B, encephalitis and other infectious diseases are available at Medical Diagnostic and Treatment Centre.

Preventive vaccines against cervical cancer

Either of the two types of vaccines is available at Medical Diagnostic and Treatment Centre: Silgard and Cervarix, which protect from the most common reason of cervical cancer, i.e. HPV type virus.

Vaccines against flue by three producers are available at Medical Diagnostic and Treatment Centre: Influvac, Fluarix, VAXIGRIP.

At Medical Diagnostic and Treatment Centre, experienced doctors of infectious diseases and family physicians assess all risk factors, state of health of a traveler and prepare a plan of preventive measures.

General information

In accordance to the order established by Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania, any inoculation (immuno-prevention) at Medical Diagnostic and Treatment Centre is preformed only after examination of family physician, pediatrician or internist.

If patient comes for inoculation and has his/her doctor's referral for it, pre-advice of the doctor of Medical Diagnostic and Treatment Centre is not obligatory.

Patients having concluded an Extended agreement of healthcare services and having chosen a family doctor are to pay for the vaccine only. There is no extra fee for inoculation and doctor's advice.
