Dr Brimas specializes in minimally invasive surgery, surgical obesity treatment, and the use of non-invasive methods in the treatment of obese patients.
He was the first doctor in the Baltic States to introduce the use of the non-invasive WLIPSE gastric balloon for the treatment of obese patients.
He carries out all minimally invasive (laparoscopic) abdominal surgeries – bariatric (for obesity), hernias of the abdominal wall, umbilical and inguinal hernias, gall bladder removal, appendectomies, plastics of perforated duodenum, adhesion removal. As well as other surgeries – removal of skin and subcutaneous abscesses, haemorrhoids, low fistules, etc.
Dr Brimas has had internships in both Lithuania and abroad – Canada, United Kingdom, Portugal, Czech Republic, Russia, and Latvia.
