Treatment. At our Centre, we consult adults on ALL neurosurgical conditions and perform exams, pain-relieving procedures, and some neurosurgeries.
We relieve chronic pain with pain blockers and anti-inflammatory medication. Based on your initial condition and where you experience pain, we may offer epidural steroid injections in the waist or chest area, trigger point blockade, or anaesthetic peripheral nerve injections.

One of our neurosurgeons can usually determine the condition and prescribe treatment in 1 day.*

*Sometimes for the final diagnosis to be confirmed, an exam which may take more than one day is needed. The doctor or medical staff performing the exam will inform you if this is the case.

For the treatment of neurosurgical conditions to be successful, close cooperation between the neurosurgeon and neurologists, orthopaedists-traumatologists, family practitioners and physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians is often needed.

FAQ (frequently asked questions)

Usually it is the patient’s neurologist, orthopaedist-traumatologist or physical medication and rehabilitation physician who refers the patient to a neurosurgeon in order to reach a more accurate diagnosis of a peripheral nerve disease or condition and/or a cranial or spinal disease or condition.

The patient can see a neurosurgeon to get a second opinion about the treatment he or she has been prescribed.
