Warts - hard skin nodules. They are most commonly found on hands, soles, knees, face around eyes, lips, neck, less frequently around the anus, penis area, genitals, vagina, buttocks, perineum.

Warts are a viral disease that can disappear on their own or vice versa - they can multiply.

Warts that are not removed in time, especially on the soles or in intimate areas, can become painful, causing not only aesthetic problems but also hindering daily activities.

Laser wart removal is a quick and effective solution to get rid of the cause of discomfort.

Wart removal is recommended if: causes discomfort. Is constantly traumatized (by shaving, combing, rubbing or pressing clothes). Is aesthetically unattractive.

Be aware that sometimes a wart can grow back. It is then recommended to repeat the procedure.

The procedure is short - 15-30 minutes.

No special preparation is required. You can go home immediately after the procedure.

  • Avoid direct sunlight and sunbathing for at least 4 weeks prior to treatment.

  • If you are taking anticoagulants (blood thinners such as orpharin, aspirin), stop taking them 3 days before the procedure.

  • Postpone the procedure if you are pregnant.

Usually the procedure is performed without analgesia, but in individual cases local anaesthesia is possible.

Laser-removed warts are removed without affecting other areas of the skin.

We perform laser procedures with, one of the world's most advanced laser “Dynamis” from FOTONA.

This next-generation laser is skin-friendly, works with great precision for safe and effective treatment and delivers instant results.

Electrocoagulation removes warts by electrical current, which usually takes longer to heal the wound than after the laser procedure.

Curettage - a derivative of the skin is scratched with a medical instrument - curette, the wound may bleed more intensively than during a laser procedure.

The duration of the procedure depends on the number and size of warts, usually up to 20 minutes. After the procedure, the removed wart area is covered with a patch and the patient is instructed in the care of the removed wart area.

After laser removal of the skin papillomas, the patient usually does not feel any discomfort. The healing process usually takes 5 to 7 days and, in more complex cases, 2 to 4 weeks. After the procedure, a scab may form on the removed body - allow it to fall naturally, do not touch it.

If doctor has prescribed healing ointment prescribed, use it as recommended.

The healing process is similar to scar healing. Complications after laser wart removal are very rare. Depending on the size of the wart being removed, there may be a small indentation or bump in the area of the wart, which will eventually level off.

Be aware that sometimes a wart can grow back. It is then recommended to repeat the procedure.
