Vitamin B6 (pyridoxalphosphate, pyridoxine)

Vitamin B6 is involved in the metabolism of proteins, amino acids, lipids, and hormones, and in the production of insulin, and strengthens the immune system. It is important for the nervous and muscle system, and hormone balance, and helps alleviate the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome. Vitamin B6 is also involved in the assimilation of vitamin B12 and magnesium.
