Treatment. At our Centre we diagnose and treat ALL paediatric and adult benign blood diseases, diagnose malignant blood diseases and provide consultation for their treatment. In the majority of cases the benign blood diseases are treated with medicines. When the malignant diseases are diagnosed the patient is referred for chemotherapy treatment.

It is important to knew that the consultation with a physician haematologist will be more effective if at arrival you present the stomach and gynaecological examination reports and conclusions. The assessment of the examination by your dentist is also preferable if you noticed the nodules in your neck and mandible areas.

If you come to us with all required examination results, we can diagnose your disease and prescribe the treatment within one day.*

* In some cases the examination lasting more than one day is required to prove the final diagnosis. In such cases you will be informed by the treating physician or medical staff responsible for the examination.

FAQ (frequently asked questions)

Seek advice of the physician haematologist if you have been diagnosed with:
  • anaemia
  • fluctuation of leukocyte (white blood cells), platelets (cells responsible for blood coagulation) counts,
  • disorders of coagulation system,
  • spleen enlargement,
  • painless lymphadenopathy (development of nodules or bumps in your neck, armpits and groins),

Also if you experience unexplained tiredness, irritability, dizziness, newly occurred night sweating or mild subfebrile fever n the evening; if in your children you have noticed enlarged lymph nodes, unexpected bruising or even rash.

The timely initiated treatment will be shorter and easier.

At first the physician will listen to your complaints, will assess conclusions of the examinations available he/ she may prescribe additional examinations, if required. After making a diagnosis the physician will discuss with you potential treatment methods, prescribed medicines and procedures. If a chemotherapy is required the physician will refer you to a healthcare establishment in which these services are available.
